Our Big Suns & Little Suns Mentoring Program pairs young individuals (Little Suns) with experienced mentors (Big Suns) who provide guidance, support, and encouragement. Mentees can navigate life's challenges through this nurturing connection, gain new skills, and build confidence.
This non-traditional therapeutic setting fosters personal growth in a supportive environment, helping mentees develop resilience and a stronger sense of self. Whether you're looking for guidance or want to make a positive impact as a mentor, our program offers a meaningful way to connect and grow.
Our Mission
Our program is designed to inspire growth by fostering personal development and self-discovery in each participant. Through caring mentorship tailored to the unique needs of every young individual, we provide the support and guidance necessary for their journey. We also focus on building a strong sense of community, creating a safe and nurturing space where young people can thrive, succeed, and feel empowered.
Who Can Join?
Big Suns (Mentors): Mentors must be 21 or older with relevant experience or education and eager to make a positive difference in the lives of young people. All mentors are required to pass a background check to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
Little Suns (Mentees): This program is open to youth aged 6 to 22 who are seeking guidance, support, and friendship. Mentees are paired with mentors to help them navigate life’s challenges and grow in a nurturing setting.
Program Perks
Our program offers One-on-One Mentoring, providing personalized support and goal setting tailored to each mentee’s needs. Participants can enjoy Fun Activities, including nature walks, DIY crafts, and community events, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Additionally, we emphasize Growth Opportunities, focusing on academic success, personal development, and career exploration to help mentees reach their full potential.

Our program offers flexible session options to meet various needs, with 30-minute sessions available for $25, 45-minute sessions for $35, and 1-hour sessions for $45.
