Yet, in his early 30s, a health crisis challenged his faith, body, and spirit, transforming it into a period of self-discovery and revealing many hidden gifts and passions. A profound journey through darkness balanced his analytical and intuitive sides.

Joe’s qualifications as an Astrologer, Reiki Master (Usui), and Herbalist bring his practice a rich tapestry of knowledge. A lover of nature and the four elements, Joe integrates insights from various wisdom traditions into his work. Our group is here to empower them with vital social-emotional skills to aid their journey into their teenage years and beyond. This program is ideal for any young person who could use extra support to understand and manage their feelings and behaviors. This non-traditional therapeutic setting fosters personal growth in a supportive environment, helping mentees develop resilience and a stronger sense of self. Whether you're looking for guidance or want to make a positive impact as a mentor, our program offers a meaningful way to connect and grow.

Our Mission

Our program is designed to inspire growth by fostering personal development and self-discovery in each participant. Through caring mentorship tailored to the unique needs of every young individual, we provide the support and guidance necessary for their journey. We also focus on building a strong sense of community, creating a safe and nurturing space where young people can thrive, succeed, and feel empowered.

Who Can Join?

Big Suns (Mentors): Mentors must be 21 or older with relevant experience or education and eager to make a positive difference in the lives of young people. All mentors are required to pass a background check to ensure a safe and supportive environment.

Little Suns (Mentees): This program is open to youth aged 6 to 22 who are seeking guidance, support, and friendship. Mentees are paired with mentors to help them navigate life’s challenges and grow in a nurturing setting.

Our program offers One-on-One Mentoring, providing personalized support and goal setting tailored to each mentee’s needs. Participants can enjoy Fun Activities, including nature walks, DIY crafts, and community events, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Additionally, we emphasize Growth Opportunities, focusing on academic success, personal development, and career exploration to help mentees reach their full potential.
